How important is it to your credit score to rush to pay off student loans verses just making a little above minimum payments each month??

What is your recommendation in terms of buying a home now. I am selling my house soon and will have the proceeds to rollover into a new mortgage. Is this advisable given the insecurity of the job market right now? Also if you don't rollover the $$ into a mortgage what can you do to protect this money from taxation?

My daughter purchased a car, I co-signed. Now she would like to look for a house, but wants to know how she can get her own credit. By paying off the car? She looking to purchase a home.

reverse mortgage's... the RM company takes the house once both spouses pass, or will they try to take the house when the title/deed holder passes ??

I've found that debt snowballing (paying extra to my smallest debt, and paying the minimum to the others until the smallest one is payed off then adding it to the next one) was very effective to eliminate credit card and car payment debt
