What can you do if your garden is in the open and the wind gusts are up to 50 mph so any shading cloths or umbrellas are useless.
i had put a garbage bag over the tomato cages if I get the advance notice
Do your recommend using kaolin clay with shad cloth?
B You can use low or high tunnels with shade cloth.
Can row cover/freeze protection covers be used in place of actual shade cloth?

I am referring to the “dwarf" tomatoes not micros. I've had great success with those in pots.
my tomates do well in a ppt that can be partial shade
I use a big pot with wheels i put on them and a a handle so i can move around the tomatoes and broccoli
I use shade cloth, everything is doing great. But my eggplant, which are almost three feet tall, are strong and have a lot of flowers….but they keep dropping their flowers before they fruit. I have used rock phosphate and hand pollinated…..is it too hot maybe?
