Who can see your viewing activity?
This may be in the list on the website. What is the article that you mentioned at the beginning of the webinar?
I gave a plant to my neighbor and he really likes seeing something grow now. He says it's relaxing taking care of the plant. I gave him an aloe recently and he's been doing well with them.
The resource page is https://aces.nmsu.edu/desertblooms/documents/resources-health-benefits-gardening.pdf
This is an interesting overview, but it might be helpful to point out there are health risks as well as benefits. Moderate gardening has demonstrated benefits but there is always risk of excessive activity associated with injury (farming has the single highest risk of injury of any profession except military); and there are also risks of allergy, heatstroke, skin cancer, chemical exposure, toxoplasmosis (pregnant women should never garden), animal and insect bites, and soil contaminants such as radiation (e.g. in Los Alamos), plague and hantavirus. I know, I know, I'm being picky but after 35 years' research in this area folks need to be aware of the risks as well as benefits. Also, as a medicinal plant specialist, a reminder that about 80 percent of modern medications are derived from plants and their active ingredients. I do appreciate the resource page and encourage participants to read further. Thanks - and apologies for droning on.
gardengatemagazine.com has a FREE 6 WEEK GARDENING COURSE if you're interested. FYI

Very good presentation. Occasionally your voice would get low and l would have a hard time hearing it but it was brief.
Thank you Suzanne.
I plan to share the presentation with 2 people who manage assisted living homes either as confirmation of current practices or to remind them to make gardening a key activity for their residents.
NMBHI in Las Vegas has a horticulture therapy. Employees are certified and you might contact them for information.
