How long would you recommend to shadow a CRNA?

I am currently an FNP, with 7 year ICU experience prior to my masters, ccrn certified. What do you recommend ? Would you suggest a getting a prn position? i was last working bedside 2 years ago?

Great, question! I am also an FNP with 4 years of icu experience as an RN. I left icu/bedside 2 years ago.

I have come across a number of part time CRNAs - there is such a shortage that the hospitals are mostly willing to hire part time employees.

I'm not sure if this was already asked, unfortunately I got out of work and just joined. I know most school take only ICU experience. Is this the case for this school? or does cath lab count towards the required experience. If it is only ICU experience that is counted for the requirement for NMSU CRNA school how many years is the requirement.

Do you typically have backup support in the OR for difficult airways?

How would you classify a “large hospital”? For example: Las Cruces ICU’s Vs El Paso ICU’s
