How to apply for a Healthy Soil Program grant from NMDA: A webinar for New Mexico’s Eligible Entities, farmers, and ranchers
NMDA’s Healthy Soil Program is pleased to announce a third year of grant funding to improve soil health in New Mexico. This webinar will show potential applicants the steps to apply for a grant to implement an on-the-ground project.

There are two types of grant applicants under NMDA’s Healthy Soil Program:
1) Eligible Entities (nations, tribes, and pueblos; land grants; acequias; soil and water conservation districts (SWCDs); and NMSU’s Cooperative Extension Service)
2) Individual Applicants (farmers and ranchers who have written support from the Eligible Entity that will serve as their project’s fiscal agent)

NMDA’s updated application process reflects the substantive input offered by Eligible Entities and the farmers and ranchers within their communities during four Listening Sessions held in March and April.
