NMDA's Healthy Soil Program grants for ELIGIBLE ENTITIES

This webinar is for ELIGIBLE ENTITIES intending to apply for a Healthy Soil Program grant. Such grants are to implement on-the-ground projects in Fiscal Year 2024 (FY 24). FY 24 projects will begin no earlier than August 1, 2023 and end no later than May 31, 2024.

Eligible Entities include:
-- pueblos, tribes, and nations
-- acequias
-- land grants
-- soil and water conservation districts (SWCDs)
-- NMSU's Cooperative Extension Service

Eligible Entities also include other "local governmental [entities] with proven land management capacity to support healthy soil", as Eligible Entities are defined in the Healthy Soil Act. The Healthy Soil Act is the legislation that prompted NMDA's creation of its Healthy Soil Program.
